Al Brunelle grew up outside of Worcester, MA (Holden, MA) the oldest of three brothers and graduated High School from St. Peter-Marian CCHS in 1990. After a one year post-graduate stint at Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, ME, he then attended Southern CT State University in New Haven, CT where he received his BS in Corporate Communications.
Al started his career in the IT recruitment trenches in 1996 and has worked in roles that have included; Sr. IT Recruiter, Sr. Account Executive, Sales Director, VAR Professional Services – Sales Executive, to ultimately President of Armstrong Consulting Group. He believes his success has stemmed from having the ability to wear “numerous hats” throughout his career and understanding the importance of relationship building. He credits networking, hard work and loyalty as attributes that best describe him. Armstrong Consulting Group was founded in 2015. In a short period of time, we have grown into a company that not only competes with some of the largest national staffing companies, but also supports and partners with some of the largest corporations in the country. Our philosophy is simple: “Treat every business requirement as if it were our own”. We use some of today’s best recruiting and marketing tools and are highly committed to our recruiting methodology. Coming from an athletic background, there is no quitting on our business partners. Al is married with (3) daughters and resides in Wallingford, CT. He is very active in his local community as a girls softball coach and board director and is also the VP of Vendor Relations for the CT Help Desk Institute Chapter.
